Birch Tree

Birch trees are a very popular choice for a home yard, but they do need care. They need good soil, you can give them good soil by making sure not just by making sure they have nutrients but by making sure the birch can use the nutrients in the soil.

One fact about birch trees is that if you tear a piece of the bark off the tree it wont ever come back. Another name for the birch is "Betula alba". There are many different kinds of birch trees: silver birch, common birch, hairy birch, downy birch, and many more kinds. Most birchs like to be in calm places. After rain many birchs let out a nice smelling fragrance that makes you want to smile!

When the ice age ruined a lot of the greens the birch tree was the first to heal the emptiness of the valleys and plains, as the myth goes. Ancient people called birch 'the Mother Tree', because it gave birth to a new habitat for all the trees and plants which do not possess the same so called 'powers' of endurance and pioneering.
